First Association Recycling Program!

Last month, Rincon de Careyes implemented the community’s first internal recycling program!!

This is our first step in an ambitious community-wide garbage disposal and recycling system, which is currently being coordinated between all Careyes Associations.

Homeowners were advised to purchase separation bins for their homes, and a schedule was coordinated for gardeners to deliver the recyclables 3x week.

We have built a very fashionable, turquoise Rincon centralised container where all our recyclables will be stored until they are picked up (thank you Duccio!). Ana and Armando are locals from Agua Caliente who come to purchase from us, so in doing this we are also supporting the local community.

If you are a member of another Association, please ask your president and staff to implement this program. We now have all the tools to do so and the environmental consciousness that asks us to.
